Child support enforcement officials use sources including, but not limited to, information from State and Federal Parent Locator Services (FPLS) databases, State Department of Motor Vehicles, Social Security Administration, State Unemployment Insurance Programs, and State Department of Labor's New Hire databases to locate non-custodial parents.

The State of Nevada's Division of Welfare Supportive Services in cooperation with District Attorneys in many Nevada counties administers the Child Support Enforcement Program.
